This piece was commissioned in 1999 by Fr. Michael Fones, OP, the pastor at the time at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eugene, Oregon. It is an adaption of Isaiah 61 for assembly, SATB chorus, flute, and piano. This new revision also includes an easier SATB setting with guitar chords, but excludes flute solo.
