The First Age of Middle Earth: a Symphony for Concert Band is in four movements and are titled “The Shadow Lengthens”, “The Fall of Nargothrond”, “Upon Hearing the Nightingale” and “The Morningtide of Numenor”. It was written for Wayne Dorothy and the Hardin-Simmons University Concert Band.
